The Value and Access (Pricing and Innovative Access) Manager partners with internal stakeholders to co-create strategic pricing decisions and business development to support brand strategies. The Manager is also expected to initiate, partner, and execute innovative access solutions that are financially sustainable to the organization, in support of patients achieving longer, more sustainable Duration of Treatment and improved treatment outcomes.
This role is also expected to support close documentation and facilitation of local and global approval of business cases supporting brands. The manager is also expected to work closely with internal and external stakeholders to anticipate business impact of proposals and oversee the country pricing governance system and provide strategic insights to brands and franchises across Novartis for any items related to pricing, policy, and innovative access.
Your Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Lead teams developing innovative access solutions. He/She should be able to guide teams on business development and strategies relating to pricing, affordability, and in measuring impact of proposals aimed at encouraging broader, more sustainable use of Novartis medicines
Collaborate with diverse cross functional teams to drive pricing strategy and governance in Novartis Philippines, leading and facilitating comprehensive analysis of situation to maximize brand value.
Develop innovative strategic responses to the most important trends, through internal and external collaborations and interactions. Apply an extended portfolio management perspective to define related V&A strategic priorities
Create insightful reports that translate the outputs of analysis of relevant data on pricing and reimbursement strategy to shape impactful business recommendations.
Minimum requirements
What you'll bring to the role:
University degree in Business, Management, Economics, or Public Health. Advanced degrees in the areas of public health, business management, health economics a plus
Market Access / Strategic Pricing experience of at least 3-5 years; Proven track record in Value and Access strategy formulation and implementation
Knowledge and experience in data management & analysis. Has experience developing concepts and proposals to actual execution
In depth knowledge of the Pharma value chain and environment, healthcare services and communications field
Advanced competencies in using MS Excel, and other software that supports development of business cases
Excellent interpersonal communication and influencing skills; Excellent negotiation ability
Independent and innovative orientation. Strong analytical skills. Strong understanding of healthcare environment.
