Core Hours: this position will cover US working hours and may require availability for on-call and occasional weekends to support team members and customers.
Manager job scope
Manage a team of analysts and engineers working across multiple regions. That includes scheduling, performance management and employee development.
Act as an escalation point and mentor for team members.
Foster a culture of high work ethic, constant improvements and development within the team.
Actively recognize and reward team members for actions above and beyond.
Establish operational objectives and work plans.
Create and Document Operational Procedures for staff to follow.
Assure that team members assignments are completed on time and with good quality.
Demonstrate leadership in Customer Service to all levels of the staff.
Take responsibility for customer satisfaction and overall success of managed services.
Interface with a variety of customers in a polite, positive, and professional manner.
Collaborate with peers from different geographical regions to keep services delivery consistent across the globe.
Lead and coordinate internal projects, like e.g., mass upgrades, device replacements, technology conversions.
Regularly interact with senior management on matters concerning the team and/or customers.
Adhere to policies, practices, and standards.
Team duties
Manage a wide variety of security products like NGFW, SIEM, IDS, IVS, Mail Security, Web Security, Log Collection, Endpoint Protection.
Use strong 7-layers OSI model skills and products knowledge to perform troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose problems.
Use products knowledge and experience to deploy, maintain and support them for customers.
Respond to inbound requests via phone / chat / cases for assistance with managed services.

Must have strong written/verbal communication skills in English.
Requires strong interpersonal and organization skills.
Requires strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Must be detail oriented with strong customer service skills.
Information security best practices & network security architecture.
Independence, self-discipline, scrupulousness.
Required experience & education
3 or more years professional experience in a Security Operations Center environment with a mentoring or team lead capacity.
People management courses / studies is a plus.
Preferred to have Bachelor's degree (desired master's degree) in Information Technology, Information Security/Assurance, Engineering or similar area of study.
Education:
We prefer college-educated applicants, but at minimum, high school diploma or equivalent is required for employment.
