Technical writer oversees collecting manual revisions from stakeholders, implementing revisions, and publishing them to the right users.
Responsibilities
Revise and publish manuals using the input from the manual stakeholders.
Monitor regulatory changes on behalf of airline customers and advise if airlines' manuals need to be revised.
Publish a year's manual revision schedule per customer.
Manages the documentation control process and proposes changes to management.
Ensure all manuals are adequately distributed and read by the crew and other stakeholders.
Edits and publishes short-term crew notices. Including managing effectivity and cancellation policy.
Requirements
5 years experience as management in the document control or technical publications areas.
Has experience analyzing regulations and talking to stakeholders within airlines.
Has stablished document control processes before.
Knowledge of configuring documentation management systems.
