Overview
The IT Audit Manager role is an exciting new role for SolarWinds. While the function has existed previously in several teams this role will consolidate the competency and standardize the methodology for auditing IT Systems and Information. This individual will have responsibility for oversight and execution of IT controls which support SWI audits and certification programs. Key focus areas include; automation, analytics, and process improvements.

Responsibilities
Establish data analytics function in support of the audit work programs to effectively evaluate the data and perform analytics to identify transactions outliers and trends to be tested according to the audit type and risks previously identified.
Identifies and recommends opportunities to increase efficiency and effectiveness of audits while maintaining adequate controls.
Create the infrastructure to pull and review large volumes of data, normalizing, cleansing and conducting analysis. Responsibilities include engagement planning and data analytics, and close coordination with process owners and IT.
Perform extensive data analytics and be able to identify red flags.
Research data problems, find solution to correct database, or suggest further outside research;
Expand research of data problems, after the initial problem is resolved, go forward, and try to explore why it occurred and is it a wider problem than reported;
Perform audit checks of transaction records checking data against original raw files and / or online sources to ensure all data is being collected, converted, and processed correctly;
Initiate independent departmental audits
Work with Department Heads to iron out and discrepancies
Analyze and consolidate departmental audits into one report for presentation
Create audit finding presentations to be shown to the Audit Committee
Qualifications
5+ years experience in the data or auditing role
3+ years in a supervisory role
Advanced computational abilities
Strong written and verbal communications skills
Robust interpersonal ability
Advanced degree (preferred)
