The Professional I, Finance is responsible for providing advice to senior management for business decisions for the assigned area, which could include specific geographies, program(s), vertical(s), and/or resource unit areas. This position reports to a Director Finance or Senior Director Finance and typically will have direct reports at multiple levels.
Essential Functions/Core Responsibilities
Analyze and understand the root causes of the financial results of assigned areas, provide concrete solutions for improvement, and adequately communicate those improvement areas to management in order to drive action
Lead the book close for their respective areas on a monthly basis
Coordinate and lead preparation of BU financial forecasts and budgets including identifying and quantifying risks and opportunities and probable outcomes and negotiating agreements on the specifics of the budget with an eye towards CNX outcomes
Understand relevant industry trends and their impact to CNX and communicate those to their team
Candidate Profile
Bachelor's Degree in related field from a four-year college or university with ten years of relevant experience preferred
Mastery of communication skills and styles, both written and verbal. Demonstrated ability to effectively present information to internal and external associates
Proven ability to lead and organize multi-disciplinary projects and initiatives in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented business environment with broad impact
Demonstrated ability to champion significant projects, programs, and business initiatives using creativity and ingenuity
Demonstrated ability and acumen of developing lasting customer relationships
Extensive understanding of the organization's business operations and industry. Knowledgeable of emerging trends and industry practices
Advanced ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret
Must be highly familiar with call center metrics and financials
With Portfolio Management/Consolidation experience.
