The APAC Platform Finance team supports the foodpanda food delivery and pick-up businesses in a holistic manner which spans across multiple finance functions. These functions include Finance Business Partnering, Financial Planning and Analysis, Budgeting and Forecasting, and Strategic Planning.
We are looking for a highly talented team member to join our APAC Platform Finance team and be responsible for partnering with our commercial teams in APAC to drive growth and profitability. This team member would be the key finance business advisor to business teams on finance related matter
Responsibilities
Partner intimately with regional and local commercial, marketing, and finance teams teams on matters including but not limited to management reporting, financial reporting guidelines, variance analysis, forecasting and budgeting, identification of growth opportunities and risk areas
Own the reporting, forecasting and budgeting process for our commercial and regional functional teams
Liaise with multiple stakeholders across local, regional and global management and finance teams
Create and maintain dashboards, spreadsheets, or tools to facilitate reporting between regional and local team
Perform regular or ad hoc data analysis and provide insights on business performance and drive actions and initiatives on key commercial areas as required
Model different financial scenarios to understand the impact of investment, pricing or new product launch decisions
Assist Senior Management and Finance leaders with regular presentations on financial performance and regular business review
Contribute to business process improvement projects to automate or streamline regular task and drive better efficiency
Requirements
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business from a top-tier university
At least 6 to 8 years experience in FP&A and Business Partnering is highly preferred.
Data analytics experience is strongly desirable. Working knowledge and experience with SQL is highly preferred; experience with Tableau will be a plus.
Possess high commercial astuteness, critical thinking skills, attention to detail and a positive can-do attitude
Comfortable with working independently on regular tasks, solving business challenges, and with multiple stakeholders across various time zones
Exceptional Microsoft and Google suite skills (particularly PowerPoint and Excel).
Energetic and highly motivated with excellent communication skills.
