Primary Responsibilities:
Writes and distributes syndicated press releases and exclusive articles to the PR consultants for seeding to the media.
Handles requests for media interviews concerning any company employee or spokesperson ; Events Handling (as needed) and Coverage (Includes: company events, press conferences, aircraft arrival, Inaugural and first flights, product launches)
Ensures participation of CEB in legitimate events among media practitioners to gain exposure and goodwill.
Conduct media visits and press rounds in an outstation each month.
Monitors pick-ups of company, competitor, government and industry news.
Handles media requests, inquiries, and ensures that media requirements are responded to immediately.
Coordination and overseeing of photo shoots for corporate communications or PR requirements.
Counsels and coaches employees being interviewed on dealing with external publics and media.
Conducts media familiarization trips, Crisis Communications workshop (semi annual), annual review & planning with PR Consultants
Basic Qualifications:
Graduate of a bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, broadcasting and the like
Must have at least 3 to 5 years experience working in journalism, broadcasting or PR firms
Must have strong English skills when it comes to writing, editing, proof-reading, layout & design - including ability to present concepts verbally
Is a confident communicator and presenter who can talk to different audiences
Has a keen eye for detail and excellent with organization
Has a good grasp of time & project management skills
