The Manager, Audit Operations will be responsible for leading the Global Vote Audit team to ensure effective controls are maintained. We are looking for candidates with an operational background and experience mentoring a team. Required: Hands-on experience performing operational processing / auditing. Ability to reconcile, incorporating significant volume across a diverse range of processes. Excellent attention to detail. We require someone who can provide leadership and direction to the team, ensuring audit processes are efficiently and effectively delivered to meet agreed client service levels. The role: The successful candidate will be performing a range of diverse activities that impact proxy voting across several international markets, key responsibilities include: Support the Global Audit Director in achieving corporate and business area objectives. Proactively engages in audit work to identify and resolve business risks. Assists in the coordination of internal/ external audits, information security reviews, auditor interviews and evidence retrieval and review. Ensures audit activities are carried out in an efficient and cost-effective manner, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing agreed changes. Consults with internal departments, production and systems, on improvements and support opportunities. Handles the recruitment process for the selection and on-boarding of new associates. Assists with supervising and maintaining effective team performance. Including training, developing and mentoring associates. Providing further analysis and support through statistics and metrics reporting various departments within the business and assisting with team developments based on stats. Ensure accurate audit controls for all areas of risk and meeting with various department leads to identify required audit control implementations. Day to Day Activities: Provide project and technical support for implementing new audit processes. Ensuring proxy meetings are accurately set up. Auditing proxy voting to ensure accuracy and completeness. Ensuring power of attorney documentation is accurately processed. Auditing letters of representation to ensure clients are accurately represented at proxy events. #LI-Hybrid #LI-KA1
