We will count on you to:
Work with Global Data and Technology teams on data catalogue, definitions and governance and implement these across the different capture applications and datasets in Asia
Conduct gap analyses and provide strategic insights to adapt individual and team plans and to address resource and operational challenges
Manage a team of young professionals to capture placement data and apply relevant quality checks to ensure completeness, accuracy, consistency and reliability of data for analyses
Act as a resource for Metrics, Analytics and Reporting analysts and a Subject Matter Expert on data, providing advice and direction regarding the appropriate courses of action to take in relation to reporting, and technical data manipulation issues
Lead basic projects within the department, working with colleagues within Business Analytics and IT to improve the reporting infrastructure, including data housing, data modeling, report performance, and report design and delivery tools
Maintain a network of effective relationships with internal contacts to build professional relationships, understand stakeholder issues, resolve problems and review working practices
Train, coach and manage junior level Metrics, Analytics and Reporting analysts, including conducting regular performance check-ins to ensure the continued growth of the capacities of the team
What you need to have:
Demonstrable experience in data management and reporting across different types of datasets
Solid experience in managing projects in a highly computerized work environment and working with people from various functions, disciplines and cultures
Involved in creating and presenting benchmark and other analytical reports to business leaders
Ability to translate data and business requirements into non-technical, lay terms
Familiar with insurance policies and governance protocols in data capturing
Strong analytical skills with competent visualization technique
