Operations * Supervises the work of all maintenance staff.
Monitors the repairs and maintenance needs of buildings and its
facilities, equipment, furniture, and vehicles; * Regularly checks-up the electrical circuits and equipment in both church
and house; * Monitors the requests for repairs and maintenance by the staff to ensure
that these are properly attended according to priority; * Schedules day-to-day workload of all maintenance staff to efficiently distribute the duties that need to be done.
Conducts regular physical inspection of all equipment in and outside the building, furniture, fixtures and vehicle.
Monitors and evaluates the performance of the repair and maintenace Team.
Implements policies, rules and regulations of the Redemptorist Community and recommends the appropriate disciplinary/ personnel action.
Administrative * Recommends hiring of extra and/ or sub-contractual staff to the Personnel Officer for emergency work load.
Coordinates with suppliers and contractors for various the maintenance work.
Supervises and monitors these contracted service crews to ensure that work is done properly and on time.
Presents purchase requests of all maintenance needs to the Bursar for approval. Canvasses materials and supplies needed.
Seek recommendation from HRO the requests of staff for various personnel action work such as: vacation leave, overtime work for approval.
Performs yearly inventory of equipment for submission to Bursar and Accountant.
Checks requests for purchase of equipment, furniture and fixtures for
approval of the Rector or Bursar. * Performs other related duties which may be assigned from time to time.
With at least 2 years experience in a supervisory position, preferably in construction
Organized and systematic; can work with minimal supervision
Leadership skills such as basic planning and staffing skills
Electrical, basic plumbing, carpentry, and automotive skills
Can do basic troubleshooting in equipment and appliances
Strong organizational and planning skills
Entry Level / Junior, Apprentice Administration and Coordination Religious Institutions 1 opening Bachelor's degree graduate
The National Shrine of Our Mother of Perpetual Help in Baclaran, Paranaque, Philippines is the biggest shrine in the world dedicated to Our Mother of Perpetual Help. While it may not enjoy the fame of other great Marian shrines around the world, Baclaran stands second to none in the multitudes who express affection to Our Mother of Perpetual Help. There are many factors behind the Baclaran phenomenon. There is its history, the architecture, the Redemptorist missionaries, the devotees, the lay volunteers, mission partners, and many others.
