Our Role
We are recruiting a Maintenance Manager to lead our highly skilled team in our Lime Plant located in Rio Tuba, Bataraza, Palawan. Directly reporting to the Plant Manager, the role is a senior plant leader who is responsible for the safe delivery of the Production and Maintenance Plan to support the 24/7 business. This includes continuously reviewing operational and maintenance activities to ensure optimal business performance of assets. helping our plant to adopt safe, sustainable mining and processing activities to meet quality and cost expectations whilst maintaining a good relationship within the community in which we operate.
Facilitate plant startup and shut down as required and directed by Plant Manager.
Ensure safe and effective maintenance of kiln, hydration and other processing plants.
Responsible for scheduling of day-to-day work schedules based on planned work activities to be carried out
Maintenance planning, delivery and monitoring to maximize time, plant availability and overall equipment effectiveness.
Track and monitor equipment condition, performance, reliability and identify areas and process that require further improvement
Responsible in monitoring and updating of all critical spare parts and collaboration with PLD for the required stocking level including all consumable spare parts.
Role model values of the business to all employees and support the objectives of Plant Manager in delivery of change.
Manage cost to ensure maintenance delivers required activities within budgeted Operating Expenditure (OpEx).
Coordinate safety risk management activities and ensure site and plant housekeeping is maintained.
Supervision of employees, contractors and visitors to ensure compliance with risk management and other company requirements.
Participate and Identify ongoing improvements to the plant maintenance practices.
The successful candidate will have a relevant tertiary qualification of Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics and Communications/ Mining/ Chemical Engineering. The role will require an experienced, results-oriented, people leader that has operational, change management and financial experience in a medium to large scale manufacturing environment. Ability to concurrently focus on a range of short, medium and long-term priorities is required.
