Responsibilities:
PLANT MAINTENANCE
· Plan and coordinate all maintenance activities in the drying process, milling process, and storage silo including analyzing equipment needs, reliability issues, and developing an efficient preventive maintenance program based on all equipment manuals, supplier specifications, and instructions
· Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly work schedules based on the approved preventive maintenance program
· Administer a work order system for all processes. Ensure work orders are completed on schedule
· Carry out daily, weekly, and monthly inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues based on the preventive maintenance program
· Check electrical and pneumatic systems of buildings to ensure the functionality
· Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities
· Coach, mentor, train and develop maintenance employees to meet current and future operational requirements
· Monitor spare parts inventory and place orders when necessary
· Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities
· Ensure compliance with health and safety policies
BUILDING AND FACILITIES MAINTENANCE
· Regularly inspect the property for needed improvements and upkeep
· Prioritize and schedule repairs and maintenance
· Maintain a well-groomed and clean building appearance at all times
· Recommend, utilize and monitor approved outside contractors for outsourced specialized projects
VEHICLE AND EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE
· Responsible for maintenance and repair of all vehicles and equipment of the Rice Processing Complex
· Implement and monitor a preventative maintenance program to assure cost-effective maintenance and a scheduled maintenance program to provide maintenance by manufacturers specifications
· Maintain a complete inventory system through recording of all expenditures of each vehicle, maintenance equipment, fuel, repair parts, supplies, etc.
· Monitor user departments by analysis of vehicle and equipment utilization and evaluation of equipment specifications.
· Implement and maintain a mechanic training and certification program to provide needed technical skills for mechanics in repair of automobiles and heavy equipment.
· Examine reports for accuracy on each vehicle and piece of equipment repaired; writes reports on vehicles and equipment repaired.
MANAGEMENT AND REPORTING
· Provide the management with on-time, accurate and explicit reports detailing all maintenance activities in all areas which will give the management a clear picture of the upkeep of the whole Rice Processing Complex
· Submit a detailed quarterly maintenance budget including the gradual build-up of all spare parts inventories for all areas subject to quarterly review by the management
· Manage maintenance expenses by ensuring best practices in the industry are applied and best suppliers are chosen to ensure all maintenance, both in-house and outsourced, are done perfectly the first time
· Maintain maintenance records of all equipment for historical recording
· Perform all other duties assigned by the management team from time to time.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree or Higher in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial), or any related fields
• 5+ years' experience in plant, facility, and vehicle maintenance
• Familiarity with industry-standard equipment and technical expertise
• Adequate knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources)
• With experience operating with PLC/SCADA automated system
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Analyze problems and solve immediate situations quickly and accurately.
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills for reporting, data recording and analysis
• Willing to work beyond office hours and holidays
• With skills in performing machine inspection and troubleshooting
• Preferably with driver's license
