Job Description
Supervision/tending in the operation and maintenance of mechanical equipment in industrial plant;
Perform engineering duties, develops, designs and tests mechanical
devices.
Develop and maintain preventive maintenance plan.
Develop and implement energy conservation program.
Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and mechanical code specifications to determine layout of industrial mechanical equipment installations.
Maintain, operate, repair, install and test coal-fired and diesel-fired steam boiler, water system, gas system, refrigeration and air conditioning system, cooling tower, fire protection system, nitrogen generator, electric generator, air compressor, tanks, pressure vessel and piping system.
Troubleshoot and maintain process equipment.
Prepare specifications for purchase of materials and equipment.
Maintain spare parts of mechanical equipment.
Design and preparation of plans, specifications and estimates for improvement projects.
Manage projects to assure projects are completed satisfactorily, on time and within budget.
Inspect and coordinate manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, code, standards and customer requirements.
Perform detailed calculations to compute and establish manufacturing, construction, and installation standards and specifications.
Apply principles of mechanical theory to engineering project and system.
