MACHINIST / CNC MILLING OPERATOR
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reviews 3D drawings received from Mold Designer for any errors or concerns prior to machining
Prepares and setups workpiece for machining on CNC Milling Machine
Programs machining operations using Solidcam
Makes sketches, drawings, necessary adjustments on the designed part and draw electrodes for EDM when required using Solidworks
Operates CNC Milling Machine to perform machining operations
Assures accuracy on machined parts using measuring devices such as Vernier Calipers, Micrometers and Gauge Blocks
Operates manual machines such as Surface Grinders, Band Saw, Milling and Lathe machine as needed to produce the required parts
Assists in assembly of machined parts to build the plastic mold
Implements preventive maintenance activities assigned for the machine
Reports any errors on the 3D drawings to Machine Shop Supervisor and aids on troubleshooting the issue considering machine and materials capability
QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate of Machine Shop Technology or any related course
Must have knowledge on G-CODES and operation of Milling
Must have knowledge in CNC Milling Machine
Willing to operate conventional Milling Machines
With at least 1year experience on the same field
Willing to relocate to Lapu lapu City
