Job Summary
The Logistics Supervisor is responsible for the overall supply chain management. Strategically plan and manage Logistics, warehouses, transportation, and customer service.
Job Responsibilities
Ensures that all incoming shipments are collected correctly and on time;
Provides instructions to the Pier Representative of incoming shipments for delivery to provincial warehouses and/or other handling;
Coordinates closely with brokers and trucking companies and sets the necessary rules and guidelines of companies;
Monitors and ensures compliance of brokers and trucking companies to the rules and guidelines set;
Monitors all deliveries to warehouses and ensures they are delivered on time and correctly;
Performs other tasks as directed from time to time.
Job Qualifications
Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Industrial), Business Studies/Administration/Management, Logistic/Transportation or equivalent
With at least ten (10) years' experience in logistics and with five (5) years' work experience as a Manager handling all facets of Logistics
Preferably Assistant Manager/Manager specialized in Logistics/Supply Chain Management or equivalent
Excellent knowledge of the logistics management cycle and supply chain management
Strong leadership management and negotiation skills
Capacity to work independently and without constant supervision
Organize, solution-oriented, adaptable, and has excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong in computer/IT proficiency including initial troubleshooting: knowledgeable of computer system especially windows environment and its office applications
Anticipative and commitment to teamwork
Ability to travel frequently to various areas in the Philippines
Willing to work in Pasay City
Willing to work from Mondays - Saturday.
