1) Conducts receiving inspections for the copper rod, compounds, colorants and Finish Goods.
2) Conducts visual quality inspection of raw material and finished goods as per control plan.
3) Responsible for the accurate encoding of all incoming and outgoing materials.
4) Facilitates the transaction for Hold tags issued by QA department.
5) Ensures segregation of non-conforming and suspect materials.
6) Ensures the lowest level of scrap for Finish goods (collapsed coils) caused by mishandling.
7) Facilitates the checking and recording of reject/damaged items and shortages for incoming shipments and coordinates accordingly with IMPEX/BUYER to rectify damages and shortages.
8) Continuously supports the compliance of both DPI's Quality and Environment, Health and Safety Management System policies and procedures
9) Performs other tasks as may be assigned by superiors.
