1. P&L accountable for the logistics sites to match the business
2. Lead, design and deploy development strategy to ensure sustainable profitability, resources allocation and compliance. Support Sales and development team support (costing, model, design...)
3. Resources management (potentially with predefined and approved providers) to maintain high service level, quality excellence and costs optimization
4. Being the warehouse operations main leader/ coordinator and ensuring effective communications between the customers, operations teams, subcontractors, local and regional management team on day-to-day operations problems and issues.
5. Sourcing potential subcontractors, negotiating with them to get the optimum cost/quality of services for the best interest of the customers and BOLLORE, training them according to the designed solutions, monitoring their performance to comply with the committed service levels, correcting sub-standard performance in timely manner
6. Understanding the customers new requirements and alerting local and regional management of their changing needs
7. Participating in the solutions design, identifying operations alternatives, developing operations / cost / pricing modeling, preparing presentation material, presenting the solution and finally soliciting the customers' endorsement to buy-in the proposed solutions
8. Implementing and reviewing the solutions according to the agreed specifications, i.e. not limited to the development of standard operating procedures (SOP), service levels, key performance indicators (KPI), operations, staff training and management reports, system supports etc
9. Handling customers' complaints and developing corrective action plan to solve the complaints in timely manner. Coordination of the operations (Customer services, Operations, Finance, Quality) and make sure adequate resources deployed
10. Comply with all BOLLORE QHSE Integrated Management System policies and procedures, Support all company QHSE promotions and initiatives.
11. Overseeing the workplace and ensure that the company's standards and procedures are being met and followed.
12. Keep informed of all QHSE information provided by the company in accordance with any legislation, codes of practice and guidelines and liaise as necessary with the relevant government departments and private bodies.
Requirements
Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Customs Admin, Business Administration, Logistic/Transportation or equivalent
Has a minimum of five (5) years working experience in Logistics business (3PL)
Preferably Manager of multiple sites (multi-user site and standalone)
Industry expert
Good leadership and customer relation skills
Highly proficient in oral and written communications
With good moral character
Fast learner on various data and referential software
Excellent analytical and reporting skills
Excellent managerial and interpersonal skills
