Why this role?
Joining our KONE Philippines team as Frontline Logistics Coordinator, you will be part of Logistics Team in Asia Pacific, you will report to the Head of Logistics (based in Singapore) and dotted line to our Delivery Operations Director in KONE Philippines. Responsible to organise shipments based on frontline demands for elevator and escalator spare parts. You will monitor and manage incoming/outgoing deliveries to KONE Distribution centres, and direct deliveries from factories and suppliers to site.
What will you be doing?
Coordinate inbound shipment with KONE supply line, GSS, global and local logistics service providers, and internal customers, e.g. New Equipment Business (NEB) and Service Equipment Business (SEB), in terms of shipment scheduling, import and customs clearance, site delivery (including necessary warehousing), and return (e.g. Quality feedback item)
Ensure timely tax & duty review and payment
Review logistics related invoices and ensure timely invoice processing
Update logistics cost and forecast for business
Monitor logistics service provider performance and maintain good supplier relationship
Identify and execute logistics improvement and saving opportunities
Escalate logistics issues to business and logistics management
Handles various stakeholders internally
Are you the one?
Bachelor in logistics and supply chain management as preferred
Bachelor or equivalent degree in relevant discipline + highly relevant working experience
Familiar with customs regulations and procedures. Broker qualification as a plus.
Logistics coordination (international freight and domestic warehousing and trucking), Import/export and customs clearance, Inventory control experience as a must
Project management experience preferred
Medium to advanced excel data analytical skill
5 years + of above logistics experience
Previous experience in logistics, transportation and/or supply chain operations
Experience with delivery/shipping related procedures and international shipping agreements/contracts is highly advantageous
Ability to analyse information in a logical and systematic way
Strong organisation and problem solving skills
A desire to win with customers - customer centricity is essential
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
