Job Description
Join our team as anAU Finance Officer! Responsibilities include coordinating month-end tasks, preparing management accounts, reconciling general ledger accounts, reviewing contracts, providing NetSuite support, handling phone inquiries, updating cash flow forecasts, and assisting with tax obligations.

What do you need to succeed
A minimum of 2 years of Australian loan processing experience as a bank loan assessor or loan processor is required, demonstrating your in-depth knowledge of loan processes and regulations.
The ability to think proactively and solve problems efficiently is crucial in ensuring smooth loan processing and addressing any challenges that may arise.
An understanding of lending practices, loan structures, and familiarity with lenders and processes will enable you to navigate complex loan applications effectively.
Proficiency in interpreting financial statements, tax returns, and understanding Business Group Structures is necessary for accurate assessment and decision-making.
The ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team is essential to ensure productivity and successful loan processing.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are vital for effective interaction with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders involved in the loan process.
While not essential, holding a Cert IV or diploma in mortgage and finance is desirable, as it demonstrates a deeper understanding of the industry and its practices.
Experience with Podium software or MyCRM software is advantageous but not required for the role.

Engage in in-depth discussions to workshop loan scenarios, conduct extensive product research, assess serviceability, and verify crucial loan documents.
Collaborate closely with admin support members, working together to prepare comprehensive and well-structured loan applications.
Take ownership of the entire loan application process, managing it from meticulous preparation and lodgment, through to securing loan approvals and overseeing settlements.
Act as a key point of contact, maintaining effective communication and collaboration with bank assessors, Business Development Managers (BDMs), legal professionals, and clients throughout the loan journey.
