Position Summary
The Learning Management Systems Administrator provides technical leadership in the support of MedRisks learning management system (LMS). This position is responsible for the support, implementation, delivery, and maintenance of users, assets, and other resources used for instructional functions. The Learning Management System Administrator is the primary system administrator and oversees the installation of all system updates and upgrades, as well as tools and software integrated with the LMS. The LMS Administrator will work closely with the Learning & Development Specialist on various projects.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
General:
Works on assignments dealing with the routine and daily operation, use, and configuration of the LMS.
Manages community areas and welcome page within the LMS including functionality, appearance, tabs, and settings.
Identifies and communicates opportunities for process and quality improvements, providing feedback on usage, defects, and suggested enhancements.
Acquires and maintains knowledge of current technology as it applies to LMS software and systems.
Maintains procedures and policies to ensure the security and integrity of systems/networks.
Writes and maintains technical procedures and policy documentation.
Collaborates with the Learning & Development Specialist on training needs and opportunities for the expansion of talent development within the organization.
Creates and updates resources to train and support learners on how to use the technology.
Tracks monthly and quarterly release schedules. Tests new release functionality in Stage and Pilot portals prior to release launch
User Management:
Creates and manages user structures including the creation of user groups and learning cohorts.
Completes monthly user audits to ensure paid licenses are only for active employees in ADP.
Reviews daily ADP Workforce Now user/ organizational unit integration notifications/ synchronization report and investigates issues.
Troubleshooting:
Provides troubleshooting assistance for users regarding logging in to the LMS and accessing courses.
Troubleshoots and resolves issues relating to system functionality and software systems.
Serves as point of escalation for support issues, which may include interaction with LMS vendor and other vendor support services.
Reviews and monitors system performance, and logs system issues.
Manages
email inbox to address technical concerns & questions.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years experience as an LMS administrator or in similar position, Cornerstone experience preferred
Technical skills including troubleshooting, and understanding of directory, file structures, and systems
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
Ability to collaborate with others at all levels of the organization as well as vendors
Ability to gain new technical skills quickly
Customer service skills, responsive attitude
Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate complex technical concepts in laymans terms
Preferred Qualifications:
Coursework and/or certifications relating to learning management system administration preferred
Familiarity with ADP Workforce now a plus
Social media or knowledge management experience
Familiarity with course design and development a plus
Working knowledge of multiple web design technologies, such as HTML
Willing to work in Mandaluyong City
Willing to work on night shift
