JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Primarily handle copyright infringement and collection cases.
Review endorsements for possible legal action.
Examine evidence that could be used as exhibits and interview witnesses.
Draft pleadings, motions and judicial affidavits.
Represent the company in meetings, preliminary investigation hearings, court hearings, mediation and alternative dispute proceedings.
Draft / review agreements and other legal documents referred by other departments.
Assist in the contract negotiations with members, affiliate societies, music users and suppliers.
Perform such other duties as may be assigned by the General Manager or Board of Trustees.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Member of the Philippine bar.
Graduate of a reputable law school.
At least 4 years of litigation experience.
Experience in handling intellectual property cases not necessary but an advantage.
Able to handle litigation work with minimal need for supervision.
Willing to work in Quezon City and specialize in Copyright Law.
