Setups, maintains and monitor of high availability of servers
Closely work with the production support team in setting up testing environments, review of test plans and test cases, and investigating of technical issues raised
Provide capacity planning of database server hardware resources
Ensure all server issues are addressed within a service level agreement (SLA)
Suggests and implements process and systems improvement
Work closely with the network team on company security policy
Creates and monitors backup strategy
Provides patch management on server
Daily monitors system logs and provide root cause analysis of errors.
Requirements
At least five (5) years of career experience handling hundreds of servers and databases in a 24/7 environment.
Solid experience installing, configuring, and administering Linux Servers.
Strong experience in performance monitoring and hardware optimization
Experience and exposure to different Cloud technologies (GCP, AWS, and Azure).
Experience designing and implementing Virtualization technologies is a plus, such as VMWare and Nutanix.
Experience handling storage solutions and SAN fabrics is a plus.
Successful implementation of Infrastructure roll-out, upgrades, administration, and decommission.
Successfully implemented different high-availability solutions, business continuity, and disaster recovery.
