Duties & Responsibilities:
Checks and verifies all required documents, visas, and certificates submitted by seafarer for validity.
Checks crew documents according to STCW requirements, flag state requirements, principal mandatory and recommended requirements, etc.
Coordinate with government offices, embassies and private agencies/ entities related to required crew documents/ certificates/ endorsements for new vessels/ flag state requirements for newly flagged vessels.
Prepares employment of contracts of seafarers processed, all documents and necessary payments related to POEA contract processing.
Qualifications:
Graduate of any four (4) year course.
With at least a year of experience as Liaison Officer
With experience in a manning industry (advantage but not required)
Willing to do fieldworks (POEA, MARINA)
Willing to work in Malate, Manila.
