Job Summary:
 
The Liaison Officer / Draftsman is responsible for processing and monitoring permits, licenses, and other regulatory requirements for construction projects. The role coordinates with government agencies, utility providers, consultants, and project teams to ensure timely approvals while assisting in the preparation and revision of basic technical drawings and construction documents.
 
Key Responsibilities:
- Process, submit, monitor, and follow up applications for building permits, occupancy permits, excavation permits, and other government-required clearances.
- Coordinate with government agencies, utility companies, consultants, and project stakeholders regarding permit requirements, inspections, and approvals.
- Prepare, organize, and compile documents required for permit applications and project compliance.
Monitor the status of permit applications and ensure timely completion of all regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of permits, approvals, correspondence, and project documentation.
Assist in preparing, revising, and printing basic technical drawings, layouts, and construction plans using AutoCAD or similar software.
- Coordinate with Architects, Engineers, and Project Managers to ensure drawings and permit documents are complete and up to date.
- Provide administrative support related to project documentation, filing, scanning, and report preparation.
- Perform site visits and attend meetings with government offices, consultants, and utility providers as required.
- Perform other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
 
Qualifications:
- Graduate, undergraduate, or vocational graduate in Drafting Technology, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or any related field.
- Experience in permit processing, liaison work, construction documentation, or drafting is an advantage but not required.
- Basic knowledge of building permit procedures and construction documentation is preferred.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong organizational, communication, and coordination skills.
- Detail-oriented, resourceful, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Willing to travel to government offices and project sites as required.
- A valid driver's license is an advantage but not required.
