POSITION SUMMARY:
A Lien Negotiator is a professional who will support our clients, by having direct communication with insurance companies, in order to negotiate settlements in benefit of the firm's clients. They are also in charge of administrative task such as:
JOB DESCRIPTION
Contact different agencies for negotiation
Prepares request for Lien reduction
Create demand letters
Inbound / Outbound calls
Provide a settlement plan of action and justification for settlement amounts to be included in all requests for authority
Evaluate payment histories to determine the timeliness of payment and objections.
Identifying and reporting potentially fraudulent activity.
Establish appropriate defenses by examining all documentation and collecting any pertinent, missing records.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
at least 1-year work experience as a Lien Negotiator
With knowledge of medical records
Possess strong reasoning, organizational, and time management skills.
Ability to communicate clearly by telephone in a professional manner.
Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc).
Can work independently, multi-task, and work under pressure
Can meet deadlines and quotas
Own Laptop or Desktop (8GB RAM, core 5 above) and with an internet connection of at least 10mbps
Willing to work Pacific Standard Time
