Job Description
This is a pioneer role in the Philippines that will manage the commercial legal needs of the company and supporting and representing Avaloq Philippines' business objectives and operations.
Your Mission
Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements with clients and suppliers
Support the Legal teams globally in contracting new and existing clients (license and SaaS/BPaaS contracts)
Provide general legal advise, including on HR, corporate, procurement and facility matters
Qualifications
What you need:
Bachelor degree of Laws (LL.B.). MBA or LL.M (Master of Laws)
Bar membership- advantage.
More than 3 years of working experience in commercial law, or legal departments of major banking/financial institution/global corporations
Excellent drafting and communication skills
A proactive, solution-oriented mind-set with a pragmatic approach to problem solving
Excellent drafting and communication skills (full professional proficiency in English)
A proactive, solution-oriented mind-set with a pragmatic approach to problem solving
Ability to keep oversight and setting priorities
Excellent legal analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex legal issues and to integrate legal advice and business knowledge, while providing strategic advice regarding risks and welfare.
