About the Job:
Analyzes moderately complex value stream mappings to develop continuous improvement recommendations. Analysis focuses on production/administration processes in the area of quality, safety, delivery, and cost.
Draws conclusions on potential improvement strategies for review with the lean team. Recommendations may be shared with the business.
Tracks project progress to ensure quality and adherence to project and company objectives.
Supports a lean specialty sub committee in area of focus.
Other duties as assigned.
About You:
Graduate of Engineering course
With at least 2 years experience Continuous Improvement Process
Well-versed on statistical tools such as SPC, QC Tools, FMEA, DOE and software like Minitab
Strong ability to communicate across different levels and across departments of the organization
Strong Project Management skills
Strong systems perspective
Good understanding of Lean principles and strong ability to apply Lean tools (6S, SMED, TPM, Continuous Flow, Pull / Kanban, VSM, Kaizen, etc.)
Strong problem-solving ability
Strong background in completing continuous improvement projects
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
MS Office incl. MS Project, Minitab and CAD
