About the job Lead UI/UX Designer
As a Lead Designer, you will be responsible for all projects to be delivered on-time, within scope and within budget, ensuring resource availability and allocation. And provide client with the necessary marketing, graphics, user interface and user experience design services in print, web, and mobile platforms.
Responsibilities
Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within the scope and within budget
Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
Ensure UI/UX resource availability and allocation
Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs
Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques
Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
Perform risk management to minimize project risks
Collaborate with product management and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience
Execute all visual design stages from concept to asset hand-off to engineering
Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user-friendliness to complex design roadblocks
Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders
Establish and promote branding and design guidelines, best practices and standards
Qualifications
BS or advanced degree relating to design and technology (Computer Science, Fine Arts, Visual Communication, Digital Arts, Graphics, Multimedia, Engineering) is preferred or equivalent professional experience
5+ years of UI/UX design experience with complex solutions for both mobile and web and proven professional experience
Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, or other visual design and wire-framing tools
Expertise in UI/UX software such as Sketchapp,zeplin.io, Azure, XD, InVision, UXPin, Balsamiq, Framer.js, Quartz Composer, and the like
Knowledgeable in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping
Demonstrable UI/UX design skills with a strong portfolio
Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps
Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
A solid grasp of user-centered design and testing methodologies, subsystems, and usability and accessibility concerns
A clear understanding of the importance of user-centered design
Up-to-date with the latest UI/UX and Web trends, techniques, and technologies
Passionate about UI/UX and other areas of design and innovation
Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet client needs and vision
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
Be able to lead a highly diversified team of creative and design people and help teammates, share knowledge and experience with them, and learn from them
Open in receiving feedback and constructive criticism
Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
Ability to iterate your designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently
Be excited about collaborating and communicating closely with teams and other stakeholders via a distributed model to regularly deliver design solutions for approval
