Duties and Responsibilities:
Display a deep knowledge and understanding of the end-to-end processes required for compoany projects (O2C) and Managed Services, as well as their input processes (O2O).
Provide project delivery support and leadership related to attending workshops, scoping and solutioning requirements, story review, points planning, deliverable creation, technical development, testing, customer demonstrations, release management, client handover activities and training.
Engage in project meetings and support project managers in performing tasks including project implementation planning, identifying project risks/issues.
Help drive key SCRUM activities for implementations, such as sprint planning, scoping and point planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retros.
Technically review in-flight sprint development within customer instances, including related internal company stories and test records.
Review release documentation and packages completed by the project technical resources, including Release records, and attached files.
Review project deliverables to ensure high-quality standards and client requirements are met.
Provide technical support and guidance for technical staff in release and go-live activities.
Display high levels of communication skills suitable for consulting with a broad range of clients and industries, including attending workshops and providing support to lead advisory consultants in the gathering and analysing of client requirements.
Configure and develop ServiceNow applications and modules to meet client requirements, ensuring all solutions are designed and implemented in accordance with technical standards and industry best practices.
Collaborate with other technical and functional teams to ensure seamless integration of ServiceNow solutions with other enterprise applications.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the ServiceNow platform.
Participate in ServiceNow upgrades and patches, ensuring new functionality is available and any required customisations are maintained appropriately.
Provide leadership and guidance to others in contributing to the internal platform including the knowledge base, technical issues, templates, repeatable deliverables.
A dedication to displaying professionalism and using clear communication processes within the company, including a willingness to participate in a mentoring program.
Assist in providing technical advice, demonstrations, and general guidance in pre-sales activities.
Requirements
Must-have Skills / Qualification:
Current ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) Certificate
Current ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) Certificate
Demonstrated technical experience for a technology or professional services business with a client-focused environment.
Strong ServiceNow experience with the ability to assist in pre-sales engagements.
Experience operating within governance frameworks in a professional services organisation.
Experience in thought leadership, learning and staying ahead of the technology curve and utilising this to influence and drive business improvement.
Demonstrated experience of managing in a project environment.
Effective stakeholder engagement; being able to deal with stakeholders at all levels of an organisation including C level.
Experienced knowledge of the ServiceNow platform including knowledge of at least two-three ServiceNow portfolios.
Experience working as a ServiceNow developer/administrator or experience as a technical programmer or Diploma level (or above) qualification in Information Technology or Software Engineering Possess a current ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) Certificate
Knowledge of technology management frameworks (e.g., ITIL, SIAM, Agile, DevOps, IT4IT)
Experience working in a structured environment with an understanding of the principles of project management methodologies such as AGILE (Scrum) and Waterfall (Prince/PMBOK)
Excellent written and spoken communication skills including the ability to influence and have impact internally and externally.
Strong client focus and stakeholder engagement and management skills
Strong knowledge and ability in the following technologies: JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Angular, HTTP, REST and SOAP communication protocols, SSL, SAML 2.0
Strong understanding of Agile development (SCRUM preferred), and development principles.
