Overall Purpose of the Job:
The role will manage crew payroll operations and ensure adherence to global payroll process and timelines. The role will also ensure all crew are paid accurately and on time.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks:
1. Manage payroll operations and ensure SLAs are met for all offshore vessels and VGGS employed seafarers.
2. Coordinate with MOCOs, Employers and Vessels to payroll related information.
3. Adopt and support roll out of new payroll process, system and tools.
4. Maintain updated and equal distribution of vessel assignment for payroll executive in the team.
5. Monitor, supervise and attend to any inquiries as the case arises.
6. Coach and develop team and maintain engagement and retention.
KEY SUCCESS MEASURES:
1. Timeliness and accuracy of crew payroll
2. Timeliness and accuracy of relevant reports
Required Experience:
•Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in payroll, HR or similar roles in the industry.
•Proven experience in leading a payroll team.
•Experience in driving improvement initiatives in payroll process.
•Ability to provide leadership skills, mentoring and coaching for team development.
•Attention to detail.
•Strong stakeholder management. DESIRABLE:
