· Act as subject matter expert throughout the stages of ISO27001 implementation and certification
· Ensure alignment of relevant processes and documentation to the requirements and specifications of ISO 27001 standard
· Develop and maintain all relevant documentation needed for ISO 27001 implementation and certification
· Recommend improvements to information security and other related processes to align with ISO 27001 standard
· Facilitate resolution of gaps and nonconformities by proactively engaging action owners to ensure timely implementation
· Prepare regular progress reports and periodically report progress, issues, and risks to management
· Plan for and facilitate necessary change management activities for successful alignment with ISO 27001 standard
· Assist in measuring business benefits and improvements to process maturity as a result of ISO 27001 implementation and certification
· Work with stakeholders and vendors to achieve project objectives
Requirements
· Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business Administration/Management, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Technology or Industrial Engineering.
· At least 8 years of relevant work experience in IT risk, controls, audits and project management
· At least 3 years of work experience related to ISO 27001 implementation and/or ISO 27001 certification audits
· Certified ISO 27001 Lead Implementer or Lead Auditor is required
· Knowledgeable of IT frameworks such as NIST, PMBOK, COBIT, COSO
· Must be able to relate to large information-based organizations and comfortable dealing with senior executives from a variety of culture
· Able to work collaboratively with teams as a constructive team member
· Able to work independently with minimal supervision
· Strong analytical skills, attentive to details and methodical with work.
· Excellent oral and written communication skills, able to craft clear, concise reports to management
