Job Description: About this Opportunity
The Business Aligned Delivery department delivers meaningful business results by increasing the speed and quality of environment delivery, providing cost transparency and solutions to Product and Development for Infrastructure services, and supporting our partners across DTCC to ensure alignment to business goals. The Business Aligned Delivery department fulfills delivery demand for new hosting environments by staffing dedicated engineers along with relationship management to ensure timely and high-quality infrastructure delivery.
What You'll Do
Work with a global team leveraging agile development methodologies and tools
Validate server build requirements, leverage automation tools to complete requirements
Perform Red Hat Linux installation, support, and administrative tasks
Shell programming scripting and troubleshooting (i.e. Bash, PERL, etc...)
Perform firmware upgrades, security patches, and matrix deployments for the Unix/Linux platform
Ensure run-books and automated supported documents and procedures are updated
Ensure ITSM Tools configuration and supporting data sets are maintained
Align risk and control processes into day to day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; escalates appropriately
Sound Like You?
Minimum of 6 years of related experience
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
Additional Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience with Red Hat Linux Administration
Experience with automation languages and tools such as Bash, PERL, Chef
Experience with virtual technologies and platforms such as VMware, VBlock
Experience with cloud technology platforms such as AWS, Azure
Certifications in Red Hat Linux, VMware and AWS are pluses
Working knowledge of the following technologies are pluses: Middleware Platforms, Container Platforms, Storage Area Networks, CI/CD Pipelines
