What it's about
We are in search of a candidate who will support the head of the shared services team of Partners Group's Platform Services (PLAS) business unit. PLAS looks after a variety of fund administration activities throughout the lifecycle of our extensive investment product solutions, including company secretarial tasks, execution of corporate and product related documentation and oversight of client due diligence on investors based around the globe as well as oversight over regulated services. In this role, you will act as a deputy team head in managing a small shared services team dedicated to the operation of these activities. You will support in people development, work allocation, quality control and sign-off for your team's tasks and deliverables, while working closely with operations teams, investment professionals and client relationship managers around the world.
You will be responsible mainly for the following tasks:
Co-ordinates and manages on a day to day basis the team's capacity
Reviews and signs off the reports and other deliverables of junior team members, including reporting into fund board and committees, executing contracts, operating the firm's core controls notification system, communicating with other internal teams and system updates across our global platform
Manages and solves complex situations, particularly in relation to company secretarial matters
Ensure completeness, accuracy and timeliness of team deliverables
Imparts knowledge within the team and acts as an escalation point for junior team members and stakeholders outside of the business unit
Initiates, leads and completes team-related project and initiatives, whilst contributing to business unit-relevant projects
Proactively develops standard processes and procedures further
Collaborates effectively and pro-actively with other teams and relevant stakeholders
What we expect
A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in a multinational, shared services organisation in a service delivery role. Exposure working outside the Philippines is an advantage;
Strong organizational skills are a must;
Ownership mindset for the assignment of tasks, turnaround times and quality delivery;
A self-directed person, able to manage effectively and complete complex operating tasks in demanding timelines and with competing priorities
Ability to identify and deliver on continuous process improvement opportunities;
Ability and desire to train, coach, and mentor junior team members
Effective and reliable team player
Strong background in finance; knowledge of private equity is a plus
Excellent communication skills and proficiency in the English language
