Kalibrr is looking for a Lead Front-End Engineer to help us build the next set of world-class web applications for bridging talent and opportunity in the region. As this is a senior position, we are looking for someone who is not only passionate and excited about building compelling user experiences, but also someone who has the experience and demonstrable success in maintaining multiple applications as they grow in complexity.
You'll be working with a diverse set of engineers, data scientists, designers, product managers, and senior leadership in strategizing and figuring out how to build new applications and maintain existing ones. Communication should be on point. And we will look to your leadership and expertise as you make decisions alongside direct reports, peers, and co-leaders.
Responsibilities and Duties
Despite being a role that's surrounded by people with different positions and skill sets, you'll still spend most of your time coding. So you'll need to be able to write elegant, efficient, and maintainable code. You'll be expected to:
Lead and work closely with other engineers in building out applications including:
Developing completely new applications
Developing features and Investigating issues within existing applications
Mentoring and coaching
Collaborate across senior leadership, product management, designers and data scientists
Empathize with end-users and participate in design sessions
Engage in and improve the whole lifecycle of Kalibrr's applications and services-design, deployment, operation, and refinement.
Minimum Qualifications

At least 5 years of experience building and developing complex web applications
Understands REST API principles and security risks such as XSS and XSRF
Adept in using JavaScript and TypeScript
Prior usage of state management libraries
Excellent communications skills
Strong coaching and mentoring skills
Comfortable working in Linux
Strong desire and ability to learn new technologies
Desired Qualifications
Strong desire to create user-facing applications
Experienced in stakeholder and executive management especially in a remote work setting
Extensive experience using Angular/AngularJS
Experience using other SPA frameworks and/or static site generators
Knowledge on DNS, HTTP, and TLS/SSL concepts
Architectural implementations of micro front-ends
NGINX configuration traffic routing
Mobile development experience
Prior experience in working in a docker and kubernetes environment
