Acting as Application engineering and commissioning lead and ensure completion of all project specific application engineering, installation, and commissioning activities (Pre-outage, outage, settling period and Reliability run period) effectively in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements for process automation, energy industries business at Paranaque city, Philippines. Reporting to the Engineering Manager and provide on-site/off-site technical Support and solution to customers per project scope and contractual requirement Your responsibilities Technical Contract Analysis, coordination with other project stake holders for technical subjects Represent Application Engineering in internal and external project review meeting and utilizing standard processes, tools and techniques Ensure Quality output and maintain project KPI Leading and coordinates engineering and commissioning activities focused on finalizing customer acceptance certification. Interacts with customers and external providers for approval of plant acceptance criteria, open issues closure and performance tests Supporting Contract/Project Managers in issuing claims (new/change in scope of work, cost impact, time impact, risk quantifications etc.). Provides cost effective quality solutions as per customer requirement and delivers within budget and contract Creating work plans in one's area of responsibility. Manages the implementation of the engineering and commissioning plan. Improves effectiveness of work plans in collaboration with other functions. Your background Knowledge thorough understanding of Power Generation Process, Application Engineering, installation, and commissioning activities preferably utilizing ABB Symphony-Harmony/800XA system on brown-field projects. Being proficient with MS Word, Excel MS access, Power Point, MS Visio, MS projects and ACAD Strong written and verbal communication skills in English Bachelor of Engineering: Instrumentation / Electronics 15+ years of Engineering and Commissioning experience, in the field of Power Plant Automation and Controls Should have exposure on leading medium scale local and virtual project and commissioning team. Clear understanding of project execution cycle, challenges, and safety requirements at each stage of project activities including commissioning sequence. A Team Player with strong focus on engineering and commissioning cost management, quality, and customer relationship. Ability to work in a multinational team.
