The Opportunity:
The Lead Accountant for Reporting and Analysis will prepare, update, and improve Business Reports. Under reports, Quality Assurance tasks and Internal Control monitoring are included. While for Data Analytics, this role will manage relevant team data collections, analysis, and recommendations. This role can also be called upon to participate on special projects throughout the year.
You are great at:
Establish, prepare, and update identified Business Reports as well as handle research and presentation of requested information. Performs quality check and verification on the information prepared.
Performs data analytics (research, data collection & organization, verification, and analysis) on various team reports, volume driven data and trends. At the end provides conclusion and recommendations as needed.
Communicate and present Business Reports and Analytical results to Management and counterparts.
Performs financial control testing, providing independent assessment of control design and operating effectiveness with key observation or recommendation.
Ensures that any deficiencies are appropriately documented and tracked detailing the root cause, deep dive reviews performed along with clear plan of remediation.
Ensuring compliance with Opentext branding in all reports and documentation.
Perform quality review on RTR processes to achieve desired quality output.
What it takes:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Accountancy, Business, or Finance related courses.
Requires at least 8+ years of combined experience in professional accounting and operational excellence preferably in a shared service or BPO industry.
Must be an excellent communicator both verbal and written, with strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills, and has demonstrated ability to influence leaders through insightful and data-driven recommendations.
Experience in Leading Operational Excellence, Business Reporting, Problem Solving, and Project Management.
Skills in Data Analysis and Database Management & Reporting.
Knowledgeable in computer applications such as Microsoft/ MS Excel, MS Access, MS PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
Ability to work with multiple priorities, handle several projects and work independently with minimum supervision while meeting critical deadlines.
Willing to work flexible hours.
