The Lead Accountant will support the Manager, Technical accounting and SEC Reporting by assuming a wide range of general ledger and financial reporting-related responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and support for SEC filings
Prepare financial statement and disclosures for SEC filings and be responsible for drafting of financial statements, preparing the equity rollforward, EPS calculation, footnotes and MD&A, and completing SEC and GAAP checklists
Analyze financial statements for discrepancies and other issues that should be brought to management's attention
Administer the company's Stock Plan, including review and approval of the new equity grants, restricted stock releases, ESPP purchases, preferred stock and other stock transactions
Prepare timely and accurate monthly stock-based compensation journals, corresponding supporting reconciliations and schedules, and quarterly footnote disclosures during monthly and quarterly equity close process
Execute internal controls processes in accordance with the Sarbanes Oxley Act, including Stock Compensation, Equity and External Financial Reporting, and coordinate testing and review for those processes with external auditors
Coordinate the year-end audit and quarterly reviews with external auditors. This includes working closely with the external auditors on accounting issues and disclosure requirements and providing them timely and appropriate support to validate our financial assertions
Perform special ad-hoc projects as required by management
Requirements:
Graduate of BS in Accountancy, CPA with at least 5 years of experience in end to end general accounting, financial analysis including 2+ years of relevant experience from public accounting and/or public multinational company
Solid working knowledge of US GAAP
Relevant experience and knowledge of ASC7 18 accounting
Solid experience in handling a team or being a subject matter expert for accounting processes.
Knowledgeable in accounting software preferably Workday and Oracle.
Experience with E*TRADE EEO and Fidelity PSW is a plus
Very good written and oral communications skills

Willing to work in a temporary Work at Home set-up
Amenable to work in Alabang, Muntinlupa once WIO resumes
