Job Description
Setting up and operating laser cutting machines according to the specifications of a job order
Performing regular maintenance checks and minor repairs to ensure the machine is in good working order
Monitoring the machine during operation to ensure the task is completed accurately
Read and interpret blueprint designs and sketches to understand job requirements.
Set up and calibrate laser cutting machines based on the specifications of the job.
Monitor machines during the cutting process to ensure optimum running.
Ensure finished products meet quality standards and specifications.
Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 3 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Architecture / Urban Studies or similar fields.
Male applicants are preferred for this role.
Proven experience as a Laser Cutting Machine Operator.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical blueprints and design sketches
Knowledge of laser cutting procedures and safety standards.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to lift heavy objects and work on feet for extended periods
Keen attention to detail and commitment to quality.
