Job Description:
Conduct surveys on land sites and properties.
Taking measurements of distances and angles on a property or section of land to establish legal boundaries.
Creating records of survey results
Examine previous records and evidence to ensure data accuracy.
Research and design methods for survey processes
Use equipment and tools to accurately measure land features (e.g. longitudes, latitudes)
Report on survey results and present findings to the management
Collaborate with engineers and architects on several projects.
Establishing & laying out of horizontal &Vertical Controls
Setting out of alignment and Elevation of Structures
Conduct Leveling and Topographic Survey
Measurements of works completed at site.
Verifying and checking of quality of works
Recording the results of surveys, including the shape, contour, location, elevation, and dimensions of land or land features
Handling detailed design proposals such as GIS-based mapping, CAD-drafting, and earthwork computations where it involved site grading, alignment design, profiling & cross-sectioning details.
Travelling to sites, when necessary.
Analyzing data using plans, maps, charts, and software such as AutoCAD and GIS programs.
Collaborating and working with project managers, construction crews, and government agencies, when necessary.
Prepare progress or technical reports.
Layout grid lines and vertical guide in building construction
Ensure that vertical and horizontal controls in buildings are maintained throughout the building construction duration.
Performing mathematical calculations to determine and confirm surveying measurements.
Marking and delineating boundaries and reference points on a property or section of land.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a surveyor or in a similar role
At least two (2) years technical work experience in surveying and field operations
Knowledge of surveying principles, practices, and techniques for land surveying
Knowledge of skills to operate surveying instruments, such as total stations, etc.
Familiarity with CAD software
Aptitude in math and problem-solving
Attention to detail.
Willing to assign within NCR area.
