Position Description:
Position Title: Labor and Government Compliance Officer
Classification: Assistant
Salary Grade: 10000 - 13000 Peso / month
Reports To: People Management Manager
Primary Relationships: Clark Outsourcing Internal Team
Date(s): January 2020
Background:
As a Labor and Government Compliance Officer you will be responsible for ensuring that the Company follows all labor compliance laws and compliance of organizational policies and procedures including developing and/or revising policies and procedures as well as the Employee Handbook.Duties of the Labor and Government Compliance Officer includes providing support to Corporate Secretary/People Management Manager. You will also act as company liaison officer with government offices in submission and completion of employee benefit availment requests.
Main Roles:
Ensure that the Company follows all labor compliance laws and compliance of organizational policies and procedures including developing and/or revising policies and procedures as well as the Employee Handbook
Act as company liaison officer with government offices in submission and completion of employee benefit availment requests.
Schedule:
Day Shift (9:00am to 6:00pm)
This is an office based position in Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga.
Responsibilities:
Labor (DOLE)
Making sure that the company is compliant with the standard Labor Law
Ensure compliance of organizational policies and procedures including developing and/or revising policies and procedures as well as the Employee Handbook.
Monthly reporting of DOLE-WAIR COVID Form through email
Submission of Establishment Report in DOLE Online Establishment Report System for Terminated and Laid Off Employee the 30 days before their Termination if possible.
Attend hearings and legal proceedings in NLRC or SENA and City hall to represent the company.
Yearly Submission of Annual Physical Examination result of employees
Preparation of all documents and requirements needed in case the company received a Notice of Inspection for DOLE.
Responsible for documentation and recording of all documents submitted to the DOLE.
Compliance
Schedule a Annual Physical Examination of employees
Monthly submission of Report of Employment in Clark Development Corporation
Yearly Renewal of Company and Building Permits under Clark Development Corporation
Create and maintain healthy relationship with Company Account Managers in different Government Organizations
Secure TIN numbers and/or any government numbers for employees who lack the requirement.
Supervise all government compliance and statutory requirements - ensure all government benefits are being applied in a timely and accurate manner
Handle queries related to government statutory obligations and ensure resolutions with specified timelines
Act as company liaison officer with government offices in submission and completion of employee benefit availment requests
Coordinate with government mandated offices on payments and posting of premium contributions and member loans
Responsible for enrolment of new employees in SSS (R1a), PHIC (ER2) and Pag Ibig Fund.
Processes applications for the availment of government mandated benefits
Answers employee inquiries regarding statutory benefits and the availment of the same
Updates the company and employees of developments regarding statutory benefits
Regularly attends departmental and/or project meetings as required.
Complete tasks delegated/assigned by the Corporate Secretary/People Management Manager.
Requirements:
Excellent English language skills (written and verbal)
Proactive and willing to be trained
Good time management and task management skills
Proficiency in MS Office and Google Suite
Proficient computer and technical skills
Able to demonstrate initiative
Attention to detail (required)
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
Ability to keep confidential information
Willing to adopt a fast-paced working environment.
Bachelor of Science Degree holder or equivalent.
With relevant experience related to corporate secretarial functions and dealings with government agencies such as SSS, BIR, DOLE, Immigration etc.
Able to drive automatic cars and with a valid driver's license.
