The hiring company is a leading international financial services group with global headquarters in Toronto and operate across offices in Canada, Asia, and Europe.
Responsibilities:
Develop new or enhance existing business partner KM programs that support the business strategies in line with the Maturity Model (OBW), KM Framework and Guiding Principles
Provide continuous improvement recommendations and support regarding end-to-endKM solutions, standards, framework, toolsand technology
Ensuring our KM writing standards and best practices are well documented, accurate, well organized, consistentand highly effective
SupportKM capabilities and services across all KM teams, support of pilots for new methodologies, improve or add new KM services; and assistin the testing of new/improved KM tools and design
Build, sustain and leverage relationships and people networks across portfolios, business partners and external organizations; leverage and share best practices through open communication and sharing with the KM & Best Practice teams
Refine and govern KM principals, best practicesand maintainthe vision across all KM teams
Support the Knowledge community of practice and excellence within the organization, including maintainingand delivering upskilling programs for knowledge practitioners
Maintain KPI (Key Performance Indicators) metrics of Knowledge Programs; performing assessments across portfolios to ensure consistency, maintainstandards, provideregular status updates and reporting to OLP leadership and key business stakeholders; and providerecommendations on areas to improve
Ideal Candidate:
University degree or college diploma in business (or equivalent number of years of experience in the insurance industry or similar industry)
6-10 years of continuous improvement in a client focused environment
3years work experience in Knowledge Management, supporting content initiatives and working with cross-functional teams
Previous technical writing experience an asset
Sound knowledge of project management techniques, toolsand methodologies
Consulting and influencing experience in an external or internal client facing role is preferred
Working knowledge of change management methodologies
Expert level knowledge of MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Projects
Formal training in Agile project methodologies an asset
Proven orientation to deliver business results through effective teamwork and a demonstrated ability to execute, including the willingness to roll up your sleeves to get the job done
