Responsibilities:
Carry out general cleaning as directed to include sweeping, mopping up, and washing up
Ensure the kitchen, pots, pans, utensils, service ware and other equipment are clean, sanitized, well- maintained and organized at all times.
Ensure floors are dry and clean at all times.
Collect, remove, and dispose trash from all areas of the operation following
Ensure waste bin area is kept clean and tidy
Remove breakages or chipped items found from circulation and update the breakage and inventory register
Report any maintenance or hazard issues.
Use and maintain all kitchen equipment according to manufacturer and department guidelines
Check all chemical levels and inventory
Follow safe use of chemicals in the workplace
Assist in light food preparation as directed by manager or chef on duty
Assist in serving food and beverages to the residents in the dining room
Requirements:
Relevant working experience in a hotel or restaurant of at least 1 year
Experience in handling banquets is an advantage
Can speak Filipino, Cebuano and English
Willing to work at Punta Engaño, Lapu-Lapu City
