JUNIOR SYSTEMS DEVELOPER
 
Responsibilities:
Worked with other system developers in gathering user requirements, planning, designing, developing, and maintenance of company's applications and websites.
Adhere to best coding practices and documentation.
Ensure all applications and websites complies with usability and security standards.
Assists the Sr. Systems Developer on monitoring the performance of applications and websites.
Troubleshoot or debugs system errors reported by end-users.
Provide comprehensive reports for updates and status of all tasks being assigned.
Requirements/ Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent training credentials.
Knowledge on OOP and MVC patterns.
Knowledge on setting up local web-servers such as LAMP,WAMP, XAMPP.
Experience in programming using PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and/or Python, VBA.
Experience in relational database using MySQL.
1 to 2 years of experience in developing web applications using CodeIgniter and/or similar PHP frameworks.
Familiar with software version control like Git and the File Transfer Protocol.
Familiar with Bootstrap templates, JSON formatting, jQuery, and Ajax.
Familiar with various web API and integration.
Familiar with various open-source applications and services.
Basic or willing to learn Raspberry Pi programming using Python or Arduino using C#.
Full understanding of Agile Software Development Methodology.
Able to adapt and learn new technologies as per project requirements.
Ability to communicate effectively in Tagalog and/or English.
Attentive to details, strong organizational skills, and able to deliver projects on time
Willing to be assigned at Tayud Consolacion. (Free shuttle from Cebu City to Consolacion and vice versa).
Can start ASAP.
