Job Purpose
The successful applicant will be responsible for managing and maintaining IRRI's salesforce system for business development. This system stores and generates metrics on all new opportunities developed in IRRI's pre-pipeline for opportunity identification through to commissioned requests for proposals. The specialist will work closely with identified focal points in IRRI research and regional offices, as well as other business units of IRRI, to ensure accurate, up-to-date pre-pipleing information is available to inform senior management decisions on allocating resources for the development of funding opportunities. The specialist will also work closely with the IRRI Portfolio Management Office (PMO) to ensure a seamingless transition of data to the full IRRI pipeline from the proposal development stage onwards.

Roles and Responsibilities
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to update and maintain salesforce data
Liaise with focal points in Research, Regional Offices and other IRRI Business Units, to collect and up date pre-pipeline information on a monthly basis
Work with IRRI IKS to continuously improve salesforce and dashboard tools for displaying data
Coordinate with PMO to ensure pipeline database accurately captures new pre-pipeline opportunities that have matured to the proposal development stage
Prepare reports and analysis on pre-pipeline data
Generate monthly reports on pre-pipeline data for monthly pipeline management meetings
Advise Business Development Manager - Market Research on important funding opportunities and trends in data to inform decision making of the the unit
Develop good working relationships with administrative teams in research and regional offices
Maintain and strengthens salesforce platform
Provide timely and accurate reports and anaylsis of pre-pipeline data
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, data management or related field
Minimum 2 years work experience in related field
Skills Required
Mandatory
Experience of managing databases
Ability to prepare short reports
Preferred
Knowledge of salesforce would be an advantage
