JUNIOR SOFTWARE DEVELOPER
 
The Key Responsibilities for this role include- Refine, design, and deliver product requirements
Work with a cross-functional team in an agile methodology to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Participate in roadmap, release, and sprint planning.
Write clean, well-organized code while making appropriate trade-offs between performance, robustness, extensibility.
Collaboratively work on and contribute to the construction of the component library and design team.
Build tools and frameworks that can be largely used by the broader design and engineering terms- Identify and prioritize efforts most impactful to design and engineering including incorporating Web Content Accessibility Guidelines.
Keep up with the best practices, latest technologies, and programming languages/frameworks as needed.
The skills and experience you will bring to the role include
Experienced in multiple back end languages such as Node.js (mandatory) to help us build backend solutions.
Experienced using the latest in front end technologies including TypeScript, Webpack, GraphQL, Restful, Node.js. Open to Angular.js and/or React.js experience.
AWS experience across one or more of the following EC2, Kinesis, SQS, ElastiCache, Lambda, and S3.
Experienced in payment gateways such as authorized.net, Stripe, and any other payment gateway including crypto.
Competent with database technologies (e.g. RDMS such as MySQL, PostgreSQL and/or NoSQL like DynamoDB, Cassandra, MongoDB).
Understand code testability, build pipelines, Docker, and CI/CD systems.
Ability to work on a user story from inception to production independently with a cross-functional mindset.
Strong experience outputting high precision interfaces, deep understanding of modern markup, styling best practices, and the implementation of JavaScript components in Reactjs.
