Responsibilities:
Perform keyword research to identify valuable target keywords and phrases
Optimize website content and structure to improve organic search visibility
Conduct on-page and off-page SEO activities, including meta tags optimization, URL structure, internal linking, and backlink building
Monitor and analyze website performance using SEO tools and analytics platforms
Keep up-to-date with industry trends and search engine algorithm changes
Assist in creating and implementing content optimization strategies
Collaborate with content writers to develop SEO-friendly content
Conduct competitor analysis to identify opportunities and develop effective SEO strategies
Track and report on SEO performance metrics regularly
Stay informed about the latest SEO best practices and techniques
Requirements:
Proven experience (internship or work experience) in SEO or digital marketing
Familiarity with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Moz, or similar platforms
Knowledge of on-page and off-page SEO techniques and best practices
Understanding of keyword research and analysis
Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and website structure
Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to make informed decisions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Detail-oriented and ability to work independently as well as in a team
Passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in SEO
Preferred Skills (not required but considered a plus):
Experience with local SEO and optimizing websites for local search
Basic knowledge of content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress or Drupal
Familiarity with social media marketing and its impact on SEO
