The Jr. Revenue Accountant's primarily role is to record and post journal entries of Custom Development and Products, credit and collection, recording of collections and variance analysis. Assist in computation and preparation of tax returns.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Revenue assurance and recognition:
Checks accuracy and completeness of revenues on a monthly basis, thru settlement reports
Records revenues in SAP or other books of accounts
Recognizes accrual of revenue
Invoice generation and billing of clients, telecommunication companies and other partners
Performs variance analysis and other reports needed by the business team.
Credit and collection monitoring:
Monitors age of trade receivables
Manages collection from customers, bank deposit of checks, and monitor bank accounts
Collects and files BIR Forms 2306/2307 for taxes withheld
Ensures that transactions pertaining to collections have been reconciled and posted on time.
Tax Compliance and Management:
Ensures tax compliance and regularly file and pay accurate taxes on time, without any delay
Ensures internal and external audit compliance
Liaise with BIR on tax audit and verification
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or any Business courses
Knowledgeable in PFRS, PAS, and other Philippine GAAP
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other applications, SAP
Strong work ethics, integrity and accountability
Willingness to learn and adopt changes
Work well under pressure, keen to details, time management abilities
Acting as a team player and adaptable
