Job Description
Paralegals should be well-versed in legal administrative matters and proceedings. They must be highly organized and able to quickly access requested case files. Their days are spent working on multiple assignments such as legal research, preparing contracts and making up agreements for an attorney to review
Qualifications
In charge of commercial and residential real estate transactions like drafting and full process of legal documents in the areas of purchase, sale from opening to closing file.
Write or summarize reports to help lawyers prepare for hearings, trials, and corporate meetings.
To review purchase and sale contracts, builder's contracts, financing documents, leases and Land Titles documents;
Gather and arrange evidence and other legal documents for attorney review and case preparation
File exhibits, briefs, appeals and other legal documents with the court or opposing counsel.
Draft correspondence and legal documents, such as contracts and mortgages
To provide support for acquisitions and sales of commercial properties, financing transactions, and land development.
To prepare files and revise various legal documents which includes but are not limited to: Contract of Lease, Amendment of contract of lease, Memorandum of Agreement, and Addendum to contract of lease.
To conduct legal research and legal analysis related to any issues that the company may be facing.
To perform liaison works with national and local government agencies and other external parties whenever necessary.
Qualifications
Graduate of Bachelor's degree in Legal Management, or equivalent;
Strong experience in Real Estate Law, Contracts and other legal documents;
Very keen on details; very good communications and interpersonal skills;
