Our US-based client -- a leading provider of managed physical medicine in the United States -- has set up their first Philippine office in Mandaluyong. They are continuously expanding their services, and they need experienced Junior IT Quality Assurance Analysts to be part of their team!
The Junior IT QA Analyst is responsible in validating the programmer's work to ensure program meets certain requirement by collaborating with other technical staff to create effective and reliable software updates in order to support both internal and external customers.
The role will put your passion for QA testing to work and help optimize the company user's experiences.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Execute test plans and test scripts, track defects, and generate comprehensive documentation by verifying functionality throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC)
Gather and analyze data as per system specifications
Creates and completes regression test scripts both manually and through automation tools
Create and executes test cases and analyze results
Active participant in a dedicated Scrum Team
Internal communication with other technical staff and external customers as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in related courses (eg but not limited to; Computer Science, Accounting, Statistics, Economics etc.)
3-4 years of related working experience
Intermediate to Advanced proficiency in Excel and other MS Office programs
Working knowledge of SQL
Experience working with test management software (eg: test automation software) is a plus
Experience using project tracking software (ex: JIRA) is an advantage
Experience in working in an agile environment is preferred
Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Time management skills in order to meet set deadlines
Strong organizational skills required with keen attention to details
Experience in healthcare industry and worker's compensation is a plus
BENEFITS
Salary package up to P 45,000/month (depending on work experience)
HMO Coverage up to Php 200,000 maximum benefit limit
