The Centre for International Education Global Colleges, Inc. (CIE British School) - Makati Campus is looking for a JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL TEACHER to teach the HISTORY SUBJECT.
 
Overall Function:
To teach and educate students according to guidelines provided by CIE British School, and under the overall guidance of the competent education authority and accrediting bodies; and,
To teach and educate students according to the educational needs, abilities, and attainment potential of individual students entrusted to his/her care by the Headmistress.
Qualifications:
Degree holder of Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSED) major in Social Studies or History
Candidates with a non-Education degree (e.g., AB History, AB Political Science) must possess a Certificate in Professional Teaching (CPT) or equivalent teaching units
At least one (1) year of relevant teaching experience, an advantage.
Preferably a Licensed Professional Teacher
Competencies:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Computer-Savvy (proficiency in educational technology and virtual learning platforms)
Possesses transferable skills applicable to an educational setting (curriculum planning, assessment design)
Self-driven and able to work independently with initiative
Lively and patient with students, especially in engaging them with complex historical and social issues
Possesses a high level of maturity, initiative, and resourcefulness
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
